MUSIC IN THE ZOO Tuesdays, June 6, 13, 20 & 27 the Sacramento Zoo hosts Music in the Zoo from 6 to 8 pm – gates open at 5:15 pm. Bring a blanket and a friend to the Zoo and enjoy some terrific concerts in June. June 6 – Bucho! compellingly fuses R&B, Latin jazz and funk with a twist of hip-hop energy. Their sizzling horn section is not to be missed; June 13 – Joe Craven is a highly respected multi-instrumentalist and a madman with anything that has strings attached; June 20 – Shana Morrison has an eclectic blend of Irish folk, R&B, country, blues and jazz and June 27 – Wake The Dead is the world's first Celtic all-star Grateful Dead jam band. Admission prices vary by concert. The Sacramento Zoo is located near the corner of Land Park Drive and Sutterville Road in William Land Park and is open daily from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm.
