FIRST SATURDAY AT THE ZOO IS WINGS OF SPRING First Saturday at the Zoo, May 6th is a special family activity day. Part of International Migratory Bird celebrations, this fun-filled day is all about birds – in our backyard, to the birds around the world. Bird talks and animal presentations, local birding groups and activity stations all related to bird watching and bird migrations! Participants include outdoor and wildlife organizations and businesses, birding groups, crafters and more! The Sacramento Zoo is located near the corner of Land Park Drive and Sutterville Road in William Land Park and is open daily from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm. General admission for ages 13 and over is $8.00. Admission for ages 3-12 is $5.50. Children two and under are admitted free. Parking is free and available throughout the park.
