Planning Commission Meeting for West Capitol Avenue

Big changes are proposed for West Capitol Ave.  The draft master plan includes wider sidewalks, new trees and landscaping, pedestrian and bicycle paths, and a multi-way boulevard.  These changes are designed to fulfill the vision of West Capitol Avenue as the community downtown.  To find out more, you can visit www.westcapitolavenue.org, attend any of the meetings scheduled over the summer, or contact our staff.

This summer, presentations on the final draft of the plan are scheduled - the public is invited and encouraged to attend.

This first meeting is for the presentation of the draft master plan and proposed design guidelines, including suggested revisions to site and building design standards.
