Music in the Zoo

MUSIC IN THE ZOO Tuesdays, July 11, 18 & 25 the Sacramento Zoo hosts Music in the Zoo from 6 to 8 pm – gates open at 5:15 pm. Bring a blanket and a friend to the Zoo and enjoy some terrific concerts. The Line-up is as follows: July 11 – The Tommy Castro Band has one of the most authentic blues guitarists around. This Bay Area band plays a mesmerizing blend of rock, blues and Memphis soul; July 18 – Mumbo Gumbo Mixin' up rhumba, zydeco, cajun, Latin, African, Carribean, Texas swing, pop, folk, rock…It's time for Gumbo!; July 25 – Way Out West is a 2006 reunion tour of the infamous Northern California trio, Bill Edwards, Tracy Walton and Joe Craven. Admission prices vary by concert. The Sacramento Zoo is located near the corner of Land Park Drive and Sutterville Road in William Land Park and is open daily from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm.
