It took ventriloquist, singer, comedian and celebrity impressionist Terry Fator 32 years to become an overnight sensation when he won the hearts of America and was selected as the $1 million prize winner on the hit NBC show ''America’s Got Talent'' in 2007. His key decision to blend his incredible skills as a ventriloquist with his amazing ability to mimic famous singers won over the judges and millions of fans who voted for him.
Now, with his newly found fame, he performs for these fans at sold-out concerts nationwide. One stop on Fator’s most recent tour is at Cache Creek Casino Resort’s Club 88 on Saturday, May 3 at 8 p.m. Anyone who has seen a ventriloquist before will admit that Fator’s act is different and unique. ''I look at myself as a talk show host and the characters are my guests,'' says Fator.
