Celebrity Chef Challenge

That's right ladies and gentlemen, professional chefs from across the valley are gathering at the Towe Auto Museum for the annual event that separates the cooks from the chefs, the Celebrity Chef Challenge! On Friday, June 5, 2009 from 5:30-9:30pm the 7th annual Celebrity Chef Challenge will pit five local professional chefs and one amateur competitor in a head to head battle to determine ''whose cuisine reigns supreme,'' all to raise funds for individuals with developmental disabilities. Event Emcee Edie Lambert of KCRA Channel 3 will give each competitor 45 minutes to turn five secret ingredients into three original dishes that will be evaluated by a panel of Celebrity Judges including Sacramento & Co. hosts Guy Farris and Melissa Crowley and Former State Assembly member Lloyd Levine. As they make their way through 72,000 square feet of automotive excellence, guests will be treated to the competition and a VIP Food Show featuring local restaurants, caterers, breweries and wineries. Don't forget your credit cards, because the Celebrity Chef Challenge also boasts a huge silent auction and raffle. Proceeds benefit InAlliance, a 57-year-old non-profit that provides support to individuals with developmental disabilities in the Greater Sacramento area.
