The CEO of REI, Sally Jewell, will be the featured speaker at the 2007 Women Who Mean Business awards luncheon on Friday, June 29th, at the Hyatt Regency Sacramento. REI, an outdoors retailer based in Seattle, has stores in Folsom, Sacramento and Roseville. It's been on Fortune's "100 Best Places to Work" list for more than a decade, with its progressive business practices. Jewell has driven sales to more that a billion dollars, adding more than a million new members a year. Five local women will be honored for their career achievements, and will join a roundtable discussion about their views and experiences.
