SUMMARY:Yolo Basin Foundation's Flyway Nights Lecture Series
DESCRIPTION:Raptor Expert to Speak at Flyway Nights\n \nYolo Basin Foundation's Flyway Nights Lecture Series continues on Wednesday\, February 1st at 7pm with a presentation on birds of prey by Allen Fish\, the Director of the Golden Gate Raptor Observatory (GGRO). Mr. Fish spoke at Flyway Nights last winter\, but did not have time to present information on all the species of raptors he had hoped to. He will pick up where he left off and focus on hard-to-identify birds.\n \nMr. Fish received his undergraduate degree in zoology at UC Davis and became the first director of the GGRO in 1985. The Observatory engages 300 volunteers each year as staff for raptor banding\, counting\, nesting and radiotracking studies. The organization also provides educational experiences for thousands of visitors to Hawk Hill in the Headlands each fall.\n \n<SPAN style="FONT-SIZE: 10pt\; FONT-FAMILY: Aria
