DESCRIPTION:Presented by:\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThe State of California has a goal to reduce landfill waste by 75% by the Year 2020.\n\nAB341 requires any business with 4 or more cubic yards of waste (trash and recycling) to have recycling services. AB1826 requires any business with 4 or more cubic yards of waste (trash and recycling) to have organics/foodwaste services. If the statewide disposal of organic waste has not been reduced by 50%\, AB1826 will require any business with 2 or more cubic yards of waste (trash and recycle) to have organics/foodwaste services.\n\n\n\nJoin us for lunch and learn what this really means for you and your business.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nAfter lunch\, we'll be taking signups for an upcoming MRF (mixed recycling facility) tour. The Chamber team took this tour last month and it was VERY eye-opening! We all left this tour with a ton of knowledge and a new respect for this industry.\n\n\n\nYou must register and attend this lunch if you want to signup for the tour.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nEach month\, we pick a relevant topic and find the best presenter to bring you up to speed on a local matter that affects you and your business. Prior to the actual presentation\; attendees get the opportunity to network for about 20 minutes with fellow chamber members\, members of the board\, and chamber staff.
