SUMMARY:West Sacramento Friends of the Library Annual Dinner Meeting
DESCRIPTION:Dear Friends\, On behalf of the Board of the West Sacramento Friends of the Library (WSFOL)\, I warmly invite you to attend the WSFOL Annual Dinner Meeting on Thursday\, October 19th at the Bryte CAFFE\, located at 637 Todhunter Avenue\, West Sacramento\, CA 95605. We are excited to open the dinner this year to members of the West Sacramento Chamber of Commerce and the general public. WSFOL has achieved several major accomplishments this year\, including establishing a Web Site (www.westsaclibfriends.org)\, raising over $3\,600 by participating in the Big Day of Giving\, and receiving a $3\,000 grant from the River Cats Foundation\, which was used to assist the Arthur F. Turner Community Library in purchasing 17 Chromebook tablet computers. Please join us as we celebrate those accomplishments and more at our Annual Dinner Meeting. We will also be conducting elections for new WSFOL officers for 2018 and are soliciting nominations from our membership. If you love the library and have a passion for volunteering and becoming more active with WSFOL\, this is a wonderful opportunity for you! Our dinner speaker this year will be Carla Meyer\, a professional dining critic and film critic formerly with the Sacramento Bee. The eager students of River City High School's CAFFE program will be preparing a menu with three delicious entr e choices of tenderloin steak\, chicken piccata\, or portobello penne pasta casserole. Please indicate your preferred entr e on the invitation form in the attached email and return with payment either by (1) mailing the form to WSFOL\, P.O. Box 692\, West Sacramento\, CA 95691 or (2) by dropping off the invitation at the circulation desk at the Arthur F. Turner Community Library located at 1212 Merkley Avenue\, West Sacramento\, CA 95691. Reservations must be received by Friday\, October 13th. Unfortunately\, we will not be able to accept dinner orders for walk-ins. We look forward to seeing you at the dinner!
