DESCRIPTION:Step Forward to Cure Tuberous Sclerosis Complex (TSC) 5K run and 2 mile fun run/walkathon on October 13\, 2007 at Lagoon Valley Park\, Vacaville CA.  Great silent auction items\, kids fun\, food\, music and prizes for top runners and fundraisers.\n\nThis is a national campaign initiated by the community alliances of the Tuberous Sclerosis Alliance. There are over 30 events held nationwide throughout the year. \n\nTSC is a genetic disorder which causes tumors to grow in major organs such as the brain\, lungs\, kidney\, heart and skin. It caused seizures\, mental retardation\, autism\, behavioral disorders and other medical conditions. \n\n1 in 6000 are born with TSC\, and there are over 450 families in the Northern California area afflicted by TSC.
