Parenting can be challenging. Come and listen to a child development specialist discuss why preschoolers develop and behave the way they do Find out how you can interact with your child in a positive way and use appropriate discipline to change undesirable behaviors. Specific topics include communication\, eating habits\, age appropriate activities\, TV\, positive and effective discipline\, computers\, handling super hero and pretend gun play. The instructor of this class\, Joyce Lee\, has worked with children and families for the past 14 years as a teacher\, trainer and advocate. Joyce is currently an Early Childhood Education consultant in Yolo County. Her experience includes being a classroom teacher\, facilitating parenting/staff trainings and teaching Child development courses at Community Colleges. She lives in Davis with her husband and two sons (ages 3 and 7).\nTuesdays\, 7:00-9:00 PM September\, 19\, 26 & October 3\, 10 (4-week series)\nThe Boathouse at Bridgeway Lakes Park 3650 Southport Parkway\, West Sacramento 95691\nClass size is limited and you must pre-register to attend.\nThe class is open to all residents of Yolo County.
