This day serves as a reminder for all parents\, guardians\, teachers and other role models to make child safety a priority. \n\n\n This event will take place on Sunday\, May 25th from 10 am to 3 pm at the Bounce Spot\, 2939 Promenade Street\, West Sacramento. Activities will include: fingerprinting and canine demos by the West Sacramento Police Department\, fire safety demonstrations by the West Sacramento Fire Department\, self-defense classes by Zapata's Black Belt Academy\, pony rides\, coloring contest\, silent auction\, inflatables\, games\, and food available for purchase donated by local non-profit organizations.\n Admission is $7 per person\; proceeds to be donated to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children. \n\n\n Take 25 was started to commemorate National Missing Children's Day on May 25th. First proclaimed by President Ronald Reagan in 1983\, the day serves as an annual reminder to the nation to renew efforts to reunite missing children with their families\, remember those who are still missing\, and make child protection a priority.
