SUMMARY:Celebrity Chef Challenge - 6th Annual Fundraiser
DESCRIPTION:On June 6\, 2008\, InAlliance will host the 6th Annual Celebrity Chef Challenge. (It is very similar to the Iron Chef Cook-off on television.) The event will take place at the beautiful Old Sugar Mill in picturesque Clarksburg. (This is about 10 minutes south of Sacramento\, just beyond the little town of Freeport. You can check MapQuest.) Last year nearly 500 guests enjoyed live music\, sampled wines from 8 local wineries\, beer from 3 breweries and dined on cuisine\n    from local restaurants\, while their chefs competed in a live cooking competition. This year's event promises to be even more entertaining with new restaurants\, a silent auction\, raffle\, art and music. \n\n\n    Proceeds will be used to design and build a preschool for developmentally disabled children. Once built\, the school will be inclusive to the community. \n\n\n    InAlliance manages an annual budget of $8 million dollars\, income derived primarily from fee for service through the Department of Rehabilitation and \n    \n        Alta California\n        Regional\n        Center\n    \n    . Additional revenue sources include work contract income\, \n    \n        United Way\n    \n    \, private donations and fundraising. The Celebrity Chef Challenge is the agency's annual fundraiser.\n    \n\n\n    \n    \n    \n\n\n    There are multiple sponsorship levels available for the 2008 Challenge\; ads can be purchased for our catalog\; donations of new items\, a stay in a mountain home\, a boat ride\, a dinner cooked in your home\, etc. can all be donations to assist those with disabilities.
