DESCRIPTION:The Sacramento Region Community Foundation is inviting its supporters\, grantees\, community leaders and nonprofit organizations throughout the Sacramento region for a community conversation.  Join us for a rich dialogue and share your thoughtful ideas and solutions to make the Sacramento region a healthy and dynamic Save the date!  Monday\, March 17\, 2008\, 8:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m.\, Sierra Health Foundation\, 1321 Garden Highway in Sacramento.  Seating is on a first come\, first served basis.  Please RSVP no later than March 10\, 2008 by contacting emily@sacregcf.org or (916) 921-SRCF.\n\nCreated by and for the people of the Sacramento region in 1983\, the Sacramento Region Community Foundation will be celebrating its 25th anniversary in 2008.   Its mission is to serve as a leader and trusted partner in expanding philanthropic activity and enhancing its impact for the betterment of our communities.  Community foundations\, through philanthropy that is visionary\, diverse\, and inclusive\, have become catalysts for improvement within urban centers and in rural settings. From funds established through a gift of assets contributed by individuals\, families\, businesses and organizations\, community foundations make grants and engage in community leadership activities to address a wide variety of current and long term needs.  \n\n''This community dialogue will be an opportunity for the Foundation to hear first-hand about the pressing issues and critical needs from community members who provide important services in various areas of community life\,'' said Ruth Blank\, CEO of the Sacramento Region Community Foundation.
