Committee Update: Representing Business with Government
The Chamber’s Economic and Governmental Affairs Committee serves to educate and inform the membership on issues related to economic development activity and proposals in the region as well as issues related to government rule and regulations. This committee has effectively worked with the City of West Sacramento on a number of important issues including business outreach, development impact fees, general plan policies, building standards, local tax and licensing and regulation proposals... "I walked into the Economic & Gov't Affairs committee not knowing what to expect. Our Chamber systematically deals with the concerns that business owners deal with on a daily basis. It was enlightening to watch this committee work with gov’t and business owners to make sure our local interests are heard nationally. We may not all share the same business priorities, but we certainly share one amazing Chamber of Commerce team!"
